Modraniht. Mothers' Night

Modraniht, the Mothers' Night is a sacred time based on the midwinter solstice when Heathens look to their female ancestors. The early English in common with their continental Germanic cousins always respected the women in their societies.

On the 20th December fires or candles are lit in remembrance of Modraniht.

Terry Brown is the man who introduced England’s indigenous fighting systems to modern audiences. It was Terry (who began his research in 1979) who coined the expression English martial arts, the name by which these fabulous fighting arts are now known throughout the world.

Cruelty's Heart.

Cruelty's Heart is a Danish/English Pagan Black Metal band formed in 2009. The band's lyrical themes are heavily influenced by English Germanic Tales, and Anglo-Saxon culture/history. Cruelty's Heart's imagery and lyrics contain clear influences of Anglo-Saxon history. Their song "Steadfast" is a cover of a song by the English Pagan Metal band, Forefather, another Anglo-Saxon-themed group.

Mark Taylor went to Ravenswood School in Kent with, amongst others, David Bowie and Peter Frampton.

He enjoyed his time in the very first specialised school-based art form from where he progressed to study fine art at Croydon College Of Art.

His paintings have been internationally exhibited and featured on BBC programmes such as Country Tracks and The One Show.He has recently had his work displayed in a feature article in 'Pagan Dawn' magazine.
